Mr Eddie Morris – Chair of Baby Lifeline’s Multi Professional Advisory Panel – has been elected President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and will take up office in December 2019.
Mr Morris is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia. As well as being the recently appointed Chair of Baby Lifeline’s Multi Professional Advisory Panel, Eddie has been the Vice President for Clinical Quality at the RCOG since 2016 and prior to this he was the East of England representative on Council for five years. Eddie is also a former chairman of the British Menopause Society. His main clinical interests include menopause, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and the advanced management of endometriosis. Mr Morris is also the co-editor of the Journal ‘Post Reproductive Health’ and has authored over 70 peer reviewed articles, book chapters and national documents.
