“Life is such a precious and wonderful thing, so it only exaggerates the importance of charities such as Baby Lifeline who work tirelessly to ensure that new borns are granted one of their own.
My first introduction with founder Judy Ledger was in Jersey at an evening raising money for the general hospital to get more very much needed baby monitors. The evening was in aid of The Baby Bean Appeal which is a sisterly charity to Baby Lifeline, specific to the island’s needs.
I was invited to the evening as my sister is a midwife and mentioned that her work is vitally supported by the charity. Not just looking after the mothers and the new borns but doing training courses with the midwives to ensure that the entire birth experience is as safe and worry-free as possible. There are many issues that can arise with birth, a lot of areas need to be covered and this comes at a cost, so please donate and pledge as generously as possible!”
