Patient Safety Advisor, James Titcombe, joins Baby Lifeline
We are delighted to announce that Baby Lifeline’s Ambassador James Titcombe OBE, has now joined the Baby Lifeline team on a part time basis, and will be working with us in a number of areas over the next few months to support our work.
James brings with him a wealth of experience in the area of patient safety. Having campaigned for improvements in maternity care following a tragic family experience in 2008, James has previously worked as the National Advisor in Patient Safety for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and served as an advisor to the government on the establishment of the new Health Care Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB).
James said ‘Baby Lifeline do incredibly important work that makes a real difference to improving maternity safety. I’m really excited to have an opportunity to do some work with such a fantastic charity.’
