London Marathon 2019

The world’s greatest marathon is just around the corner, meet our 4 fantastic runners!

This years’ Virgin Money London Marathon takes place on Sunday 28th April and Team Baby Lifeline have been in training for months preparing for the big day!

Bex and Ella

bex-and-ella-croppedBex, is the physio at Scarlets Rugby, based in South Wales. She loves her work and has always had a passion for helping others through her “healing hands”. Bex came across Baby Lifeline when she met Judy (Founder of Baby Lifeline) when she was one of her own physiotherapy patients. Judy, very modestly, opened her eyes to all the great work of the charity, which is particularly close to Bex’s heart as she is an identical twin, born premature herself. If it wasn’t for the amazing work of charities like Baby Lifeline, her twin sister may not have made it through those early new born weeks.

Ella is a full-time mother of a 3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl, while attempting to complete a degree as a part time student at Coventry University. Although both pregnancies were without complications, Ella is passionate about supporting mothers during their pregnancy. Her husband, Nathan Hughes (England and Wasps rugby player) is a current Ambassador for Baby Lifeline, supporting the cause from a fathers role during pregnancy, an important aspect sometimes overlooked.
