Baby Lifeline is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted as nominees in the category of “Improving Outcomes through Learning and Development“ at the 2015 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards in partnership with Celesio, to be held on 18 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards, is the largest celebration of excellence in UK healthcare, highlighting the most innovative and successful people and projects in the sector. HSJ is the only title to cover all aspects of publicly funded healthcare, providing news, analysis, best practice information and advice from the most powerful people in health, for the most powerful people in health.
The initiative “BIRTH2 UK Maternity Training” which responded to The NHS Litigation Authority’s ‘Ten Years of Maternity Claims’ Report was launched in November 2013 and has since gathered much success; in 2014 we trained 1,600 healthcare professionals in key areas of delivery suite practice. So far in 2015, we have successfully trained over 800 healthcare professionals in even more pertinent and life-saving topics.
The awards were created in 1981 to recognise, on a national platform, the projects and initiatives that deliver healthcare excellence and innovation. By shining a spotlight on cutting-edge innovations and best practice, the awards give impetus to improving the quality of health care in the UK.
This year, over 600 unique organisations submitted over 1600 entries. The shortlisted organisations, one of which is Baby Lifeline, will now complete presentations and interviews to a specific judging panel made up of senior and influential figures from the health sector.
