Head of Research and Development, Baby Lifeline Training
Sara is the Head of Research & Development at Baby Lifeline Training. She is a co-author of the Mind the Gap reports which investigate maternity training provision, prioritisation, and assessment in response to key themes in mortality and morbidity in the UK.
She is also an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Hull, where she works with the Faculty of Health Sciences on the robust assessment of the impact of CPD training in maternity. The team’s recent publication centred around the impact of maternity training on knowledge, confidence, and empowerment; within this project the team developed a measure to assess empowerment in health professionals pre and post-training.
