Patrick Bose qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1995 and underwent training at Oxford John Radcliffe, Guys & St Thomas’, Chelsea & Westminster and Hammersmith/Queen Charlotte’s Hospitals. After training as a Specialist Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London he was appointed as a Clinical Research Fellow with the World Health Organisation in 2000 and was subsequently awarded both a PhD and Diploma of Imperial College.
His academic interest in early pregnancy failure led to the publication of numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and numerous presentations at international meetings. He has a special interest in medical education and has extensive experience in the training and examining of both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology. He has been active member of the Baby Lifeline Charity since 2006 and has taught extensively on the Management of Obstetric Haemorrhage.
His varied clinical interests include bariatric obstetrics, intra-partum obstetrics and menopausal health. He is an active member of several charitable organisations including the Ectopic Pregnancy Foundation. He was recently appointed as consultant obstetrician at The Royal Berkshire Hospital.
